We have started our silage this week and will continue over the next few weeks. A female hen harrier has been sighted around the farm steading and home fields over the last few days.

Our self catering holiday cottage lies in the Duneaton Valley on the edge of the Southern Uplands of Scotland. A traditional stone-built cottage, renovated to a high standard, with an enclosed garden and a south facing conservatory giving a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside.
The cottage offers a peaceful rural setting on our working organic farm, with easy access to major roads making it an ideal location for visiting central Scotland.
There’s plenty on offer locally. Visit the old market towns of Lanark and Biggar or explore Wanlockhead, Scotland’s highest village, or visit New Lanark, a world heritage site. If you want a more active holiday, there is superb local walking, fishing, bird watching, cycling and golfing.
